THE DEBUT ALBUM OF the Italian PROGRESSIVE ROCK supergroup, WITH BERNARDO LANZETTI (ex-PFM) and featuring Steve Hackett (Genesis)! The Supergroup is a project formed by the collaboration of celebrated musicians who got together to play sometimes in a totally spontaneous way (or maybe fully investigated ..). These musicians are able to meet their needs outside of their bands of origin and at the same time satisfy their fans. This is the debut album of CCLR, a trio that involves BERNARDO Lanzetti, former lead singer of PFM and ACQUA FRAGILE (whose two albums are now reissued by Esoteric Recordings), drummer Gigi Cavalli Cocchi of Mangala Vallis and the keyboardist and bass player of sticks CRISTIANO ROVERSI from Moongarden. The trio has gathered together an incredible array of guitarists and famous guests, among which Steve Hackett of Genesis, Aldo Tagliapietra of Le Orme, ANTHONY SYDNEY of Perigeo, and six other guitarists from the Italian rock, classical and jazz scenes. "CCLR" album is a melodic, very dreamy set of songs based on the unmistakable voice of Lanzetti and on the majestic choirs created with the Mellotron. Among the tracks a reinterpretation of the classic "By This River" by Brian Eno and "Morning Comes" by Acqua Fragile. A wonderful album for fans of Italian prog!
